See, it sounds so much better than saying that americastoplawyers@gmail.com is a pain in the butt! When you are a potential award purchaser, that sort of care matters.
Some awards just come, out of the blue. You are working and doing your job, and suddenly you are recognized.
Other awards come when you send money to vendors. This could be a "most valuable customer", but it is often classified as a "Top" attorney promotion:

You get the idea. And the vendors hope to get the bucks!
Think of it as a Feast of Steven for award vendors, sort of. You have been working and doing your job, and suddenly an opportunity to purchase an award comes in your e-mail.

squatted on the chimney top, dropped a stinky turd in.
Just imagine. A bronze plaque, or mahogony, or even lucite. Whatever you wish that fits your price tolerance.
