Voluptuous magazine's Model of the Year contests began in 1998, Britain's Carol Brown won that year. Over the years, there were several back-to-back winners. The winners after Carol are Devon Daniels, Via Paxton, Sharday (2001 & 2002), Kerry Marie, Nicole Peters (2004 & 2005), Nadine Jansen, Angela White, Christy Marks, Karina Hart, Renee Ross (2010 & 2011), Hitomi, Joana Bliss (2013 & 2014), Vanessa Y. (2015 & 2016), Demmy Blaze, Codi Vore, Erin Star and Cheryl Blossom (2020 & 2021). The Model of the Year contests have always been difficult for the voters. For example, in 2012, the Voluptuous contestants were Leanne Crow, Terri Jane, Natalie Fiore, Hitomi, Sophie Mae, Karina Hart, Micky Bells, Gya Roberts, Renee Ross, Elaina Gregory, Ashley Sage Ellison and Jenna Valentine. How do you choose one winner from this list? In 2020, the contests were split. A separate web-only SCORELAND contest was created while the SCORE and Voluptuous contests were featured in the print and digital magazines.
